Virtual PL to Go

Virtual PL to Go sessions are designed to be short PL sessions where educators gain tangible strategies to use immediately in their practice. Virtual PL to Go leverages a variety of synchronous and asynchronous structures. These structures include:

  1. Synchronous professional learning involves an online, real time instructional presentation followed by collaborative Q&A through videoconferencing (IE: Zoom).

  2. Asynchronous professional learning occurs when participants complete the training/learning at different times, according to their own schedule, usually through pre-recorded videos, articles, or podcasts in conjunction with a required reflection.

  3. Flipped edition professional learning combines pre-recorded video instruction with live collaboration through videoconferencing in tools like Zoom.

Our Virtual PL to Go Structure has been highlighted nationally by the Digital Promise organization. To find out more about the VPL2Go structure, review the Digital Promise blog article linked here.
