School Work Plans
What is a School-based Work Plan Process?
The goal of the school-based work plan process is to help leaders leverage collaborative data analysis to identify and assess the effectiveness of high-leverage improvement efforts. The high-leverage improvement efforts are the work plan areas of growth.
In the school-based work plan process leaders will strategically monitor the high-leverage improvement efforts to see if they lead to the greatest amounts of student achievement possible.
The school-based work plan process helps school leaders to focus their work on the areas of growth outlined in the school’s work plan and manage the change process until the goals are achieved. This is done through a clear timetable of checkpoints and the use of reflection protocols.
The school-based work plan process helps the leadership teams to align ALL school initiatives towards strategic movement to the growth areas outlined in the school’s work plan and the District’s strategic plan.
