I live in Chapin. Originally I am from Western New York, we moved to South Carolina in 2009. This is my fourteenth year teaching in school District 5. I spent my first 3 years teaching at Dutch Fork High School and then moved to Chapin Intermediate for the opening school year in 2015. I received my B.S. in Business Administration from SUNY Geneseo (NY) and my M.S. in Business & Marketing Education from Nazareth College (NY). In 2022 I became a National Board Certified teacher. I am married. My husband Michael, and I have been blessed with five children (Bella, Nico, Michael Jr., Teddy and Samuel). When I am not at school I enjoy running, trying new things in the kitchen, eating chocolate and laughing with friends and family.
It is a privilege to teach students skills that they will use for the rest of their lives.
