Chromebook Refresh/Reset
If your Chromebook is not turning on, maybe it is showing the power light turned on-but nothing is showing on the screen, your screen is frozen, or something different, follow the two options for attempting to get your Chromebook up and working again. Start with option 1 noted in red. If option one does not work, try option two in green. Read the last step in option 2's box if neither of those options worked.

Microphone stop working?
First, conduct a hard restart on your Chromebook by: holding down the button above the 6 which looks like a box with two vertical lines inside. Hold that button and the power button down at the same time, and continue holding them until the screen goes black and then the word "Google" appears.
Next, click the image to the left to test out your microphone. Follow the instructions on the left of the screen on the webiste in order to verify if the mic now works.
