When your child is struggling or in need of enrichment in any area, you or a teacher may request assistance from the Student Support Team.
You are an important member of the Student Support Team
The team works together to design supports for your child.
The Student Support Team collaborates with you to identify classroom strategies, intervention opportunities, or by connecting you with supplemental in school or out-of-school supports.
The Student Support Team uses student data to help decide what classroom accommodations and/or interventions will support the student in being successful with varying levels of support that may include:
Academic: Small group or individual support for literacy and math skills.
Social and emotional: Participation in small group skill development, referral to counseling at school, development of an individualized plan.
Integrated Supports: Referral to outside services that support students and families including case management, health and wellness, and enrichment.
