The Salk Counseling Department works with students and teachers to maximize each student's academic and personal development during their middle school years. These goals will be accomplished through individual and small group counseling, consulting, classroom presentations, and coordinating with teachers and parents.

Students are welcome to see their School Counselor, Social Worker, or Psychologist during lunch or work study. Additionally, students can schedule an appointment for a later time/date by stopping by the School Counseling Department. Students who are experiencing an emergency or crisis should speak to their teacher and request a pass to see their counselor immediately.

The Salk Counseling Department website is a continuous work-in-progress. We strive to adjust our resources and supports based on the ever-changing needs of our students and families. Please check back often for updates and new information!
