New ML Orientation 2023

An introduction to the various ML tools and resources for new Municipal Liaisons.

(I forgot to re-introduce myself when the actual content started after the opening chit chat that I trimmed so please imagine a "Hi, my name is Sarah Mackey, my pronouns are she/her, and I'm the Director of Community Engagement here at NaNoWriMo" at the beginning. And I also forgot to spotlight my video when I was just talking, but it's full screen for the screensharing!)

ML NaNo Prep!

An event intended to give MLs an overview of our NaNo Prep resources, some inspiration for NaNo Prep activities, and a chance to do some NaNo Prep themselves! You can also read the chat transcript from this event—there were some great suggestions and resources shared there: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1GYBepbY2DyfQta6rW6zFZ10fM6CvlmvV/view?usp=sharing

Timestamps and links to the activities and resources are available in the description of the YouTube video.

Right to Be workshops

We're asking all our returning MLs to attend or watch a recording of one of Right to Be's Bystander Intervention or Stand Up workshops at some point before returning ML forms are posted for 2024. New trainings are generally added every month, and this schedule will be updated regularly to share those options.

Recordings are generally available on Right to Be's Facebook page for at least 24 hours following each workshop. (A Facebook account is not required to view these recordings.)

Expand this section for upcoming workshop dates and times, and click on the underlined dates to register for the workshop.
