The highly anticipated Robotics Event was officially launched with a ribbon-cutting ceremony. SHS Principal, Assoc. Prof. Eric N. Awi, PhD, was joined by Mr. Jerry Escultura, the Student Development Coordinator, and Letran SHS Erudites Adviser Mr. John Romy Delfin, as they ceremoniously cut the ribbon, marking the official opening of an impressive showcase of student creativity.
Students and teachers, who were eager to witness the impressive technological advancements in the exhibit, attended the ceremony. The exhibit was divided into two main sections: "The Basics of Arduino"; and the Grade 12 STEM students' 4th Quarter Performance Tasks.
"The Basics of Arduino'' provides an overview of the fundamental components and programming techniques required to effectively use Arduino boards. On the other hand, the complexities of Arduino technology were used in the projects and innovations of Grade 12 STEM students, offering a practical learning opportunity for everyone in attendance.
The Grade 12 STEM students' 4th Quarter Performance Tasks showcased the real-world applications and even the creative possibilities of Arduino boards. These projects showcased a wide array of applications, ranging from basic automation tasks to advanced AI-driven systems, emphasizing the flexibility and imaginative possibilities offered by this technology.
The "Robotics Using Arduino and AI" exhibit had been available for two days, providing students and faculty members sufficient time to delve into and explore the innovative projects. The event not only celebrated the students' accomplishments but also served as a source of inspiration for future technologists and innovators within the Letran community.
