In a joyful and prideful afternoon, Colegio de San Juan de Letran organized a victory party for the triumphant Letran Squire on April 12, after successfully defending their championship title during the National Collegiate Athletics Association (NCAA) Season 99 Juniors Basketball Division.

The event, hosted by Emil Rodrigo Carreon, kicked off with the singing of the national anthem and was followed immediately by a performance from the Letran Cheering Squad.

With loud cheers from the audience, this was presided over by the introduction of each player, coach, manager, and other staff behind the team's victory.

"Matalo, manalo, nandoon kayo. Salamat dahil hindi niyo kami sinukuan," the Letran Squires team captain, Jonathan Moses "Titing" Manalili, remarked, addressing the Letran community that relentlessly supported his team.

Manalili was also hailed as the Finals Most Valuable Player (MVP) for the Juniors Division after churning out a career-high and historical 35 points during the first game of the finals.

In a later statement, his mentor and the Letran Squires head coach, Allen Ricardo also thanked the stakeholders that helped them through the championship.

"I am looking forward to a three-peat," Ricardo said during his speech.

"Basta para sa Letran gagawin ko," he emphasized.

During the ceremony, the Colegio, still led by Manaliling and Coach Ricardo, and accompanied by the Letran’s Rector and President, Rev. Fr. Raymund Fernando Jose O.P., unveiled the championship banner and conducted a ball turnover in honor of the Squires.

Father Jose also gave Mr. Jacob Lao and Mr. Frank Lao the Best Manager Award for their contribution to the team.

"We will continue to support the Letran Knights and the Squires," Father Jose assured the team during his address.

The event ended with a ceremonial bonfire and community banquet.
