Accountancy, Business, and Management (ABM) students launched this year's Arribanchetto, a bazaar-like fair, to accommodate the interests and cravings of students during the Senior High School week at the Salon de Actos from October 28 until October 29.
As part of the opening, the ABM learning Area Coordinator, Mr. Isaiah Samson, gave a heartwarming speech to thank all the students who worked hard to make the event possible. “This event is an incredible opportunity to showcase the creativity, innovation, and entrepreneurial spirit of our students,” Mr. Samson said.
Mr. Samson also encouraged students to support and visit the available booths to help them advertise and discover the stories behind each store.
“This would be a practical experience for the Grade 12 ABM students to put into practice what they have learned in their specialized and entrepreneurial subjects and to know the basic requirements of what it is like to be an entrepreneur,” Mr. Samson added.
Arribanchetto is where Grade 12 ABM students put up a booth with their own brands, offering different products and services as part of their Entrepreneurship, Marketing, Fundamentals of Accountancy Business and Management, and Finance subjects.
The booths hosted by all Grade 12 ABM sections were as follows: Sawadesserts, Para sa Street Burger, Toastouceur, Froffles, Croc-quette Crunch, Pantropicake, Frydays, DANGOOO, Click N' SNAP, Pinoy Big Burrito, Arribunch, Creffee, Carti Juice, OHMYPASTIL, and Chika Chicks.
“After a time of cramming, nakapag-baon kami ng lessons like endurance, resilience, and determination to face the challenges of Arribanchetto 2024,” Jaimie Reese Cañedo from ABM12A quoted.
Cañedo also said that students studying in ABM are being prepared to become strong, intelligent people who can overcome any obstacle in their path.
“We need to be 10 steps ahead of the possible things na pwedeng mangyari and yung mga things na makaka-affect the outcome of our business,” shared by Aaliyah May Marayag from ABM12B.
Marayag left a tip to not let anyone exhaust themselves on one sided communication when cooperating with others.
“Time management and taking down notes are a must kapag mag-start ng business. It will help you be more efficient and productive,” said Jannah Isabel Jordan from ABM12C.
Jordan also commented that they will use their mistakes in their preparations for day one as a lesson to improve their performance for day two.
This was a platform to train ABM students to learn and experience how to start, manage, and own a business from scratch.
Grade 11 ABM students were also present to witness the hard work of their seniors, preparing themselves for Arribanchetto next year.
The inaugural event concluded with a final “good luck” from Mr. Samson which was immediately followed by the opening of all the Arribanchetto booths.
