Chocolate Chip Cookies

INGREDIENTS
1 cup of salted butter
1 cup of granulated sugar
1 cup of light brown sugar
2 teaspoons of pure vanilla extract
2 large eggs
3 cups of all purpose flour
1 teaspoon of baking soda
1 teaspoon of sea salt
2 cups of chocolate chips
INSTRUCTIONS
Preheat the oven to 375 and line 3 baking sheets with parchment paper.
In a medium bowl mix together flour, baking soda, baking powder and salt.
In a separate bowl mix together butter and sugar until fully combined.
In the bowl with the butter and sugar, add the eggs and vanilla until it turns a light color.
Mix the dry and wet ingredients together until fully combined.
Add chocolate chips and mix well.
Roll the cookie dough into 1-3 tablespoons depending on how big you want them.
Place cookies onto a baking sheet and flatten. (Don’t flatten too much )
Bake in the oven for 8-10 minutes or until golden brown.
Once ready let them sit on a baking rack and then let the cookies cool completely on a cooling rack.
Summer Recipe

Many times people think that the best summer foods are hot dogs and ice cream cones. However, there are so many foods that are amazing to have during the summer besides these two. Israeli Salad is a nutritious dish that is packed with vitamins and nutrients beneficial for your immune system. The tomatoes are an amazing source of vitamins A and C. The cucumbers are amazing for hydration due to their high water content. The olive oil packs the salad with antioxidants, and anti-inflammatory properties.
Another reason why Israeli Salad is an amazing salad to choose from is because, due to the combination of fiber, water, and volume, it is able to promote the feeling of fullness while reducing the overall calorie intake.
INGREDIENTS
1 pound of tomatoes or 3 cups of tomatoes
1 pound of cucumbers or two medium cucumber
⅓ of a cup of onion
About half a tsp of salt
About half a tsp of black pepper
½ cup of minced parsley
INSTRUCTIONS
Mix everything together in a medium sized bowl
