Brackenridge Peak Seven Mountain
By Sienna Kwon: Grade 5
Vail and Breckenridge, Colorado are Snowboarding/Skiing mountains. But is it a good mountain to Ski or Snowboard on? Should you go there for the beautiful sights? The food? Skiing or Snowboarding? The hotel? Read this review, maybe you will want to take a visit there yourself, or maybe you might not want to go! There are many Pros and Cons, find out as you read this review!
Vail, Colorado I would recommend. The food is good, and so are the people. In the village of Vail, you can go sit by the creek, eat at a restaurant, and go clothes shopping! Clothes and jewelry stores are the most common stores at Vail village. Vail village is also very artistic, with sculptures, and murals with many other amazing things to see. Vail mountain itself is also great- but you should get onto the mountain a little late in the day, 10:00 would be a good time to snowboard or ski. This is because earlier in the day, the snow is kind of hard and chunky (a nice foot massage, just saying), and the sun hasn't really been high up yet that early, so the snow isn't a little melted to a perfect snow condition.some good trails to go on at Vail mountain are Lost Boys, Born Free, Avanti, Lodgepole, and Bear Tree (for intermediate skiers and snowboarders). Please note that Lost Boys is flat at the beginning if you are planning to come to Vail. The hotel I stayed in was nice, with a big bed and two bathrooms, and a view of a fountain in a busy part of Vail village, with a balcony. I would give the mountain a 4.5 star rating.
Breckenridge, Colorado’s peak seven is located at the Ten Mile Range of the Colorado Rocky Mountains. Most of the ratings are four stars and over. The snow was nice, but some trails were not good, but it snowed later, so the trails got better. Unfortunately, I came down with the flu, so I could not see which trails would be best. The hotel I stayed in was average, but the food. Was. AMAZING. They had a Mexican food place called Mi Casa, and the pho bowls at Pho 92 (close to the airport) were HUGE (even though I threw some of it up. I was feeling sick, what would you expect?). I have been here before, but my first time here was probably way better. I would give Breckenridge a 3.5 star rating.

Wildwood, NJ
By Wesley Martinez: Grade 8
Wildwood is a town in New Jersey which is known for its amazing boardwalk and the iconic tram announcement “Watch the tram car please” . Wildwood is split into 3 towns. Wildwood Crest, Wildwood, and North Wildwood. It's all the same place in the summer because it's all very well connected. Wildwood has many amazing hotels. It's so hard to decide which one you like better but if I had to choose one it would be the Pan American in the Wildwood Crest section of Wildwood. It has amazing views, clean rooms, and an amazing pool. The beaches in wildwood have super soft sand and amazing ocean water. They even have ice cream and coffee carts rolling around Wildwood. The best part about Wildwood in my opinion is the Boardwalk. It has the best rides, tram, and food. The tram that shuttles people between the piers of the boardwalk is very well known across the region. When you're on the ferris wheel and overlooking the boardwalk at night, it's like a fairytale. Wildwood has been a tradition for me since I was a baby and ever since I loved it, and I hope everyone else who visits loves it too. I highly recommend it for people who haven’t visited.
Hoboken, NJ
By Wesley Martinez: Grade 8
Hoboken is a town in NJ. It is located by the beautiful Hudson river which borders NJ and New York City. It is also the home of one of the busiest transit terminals in America called ‘Hoboken Terminal’. The terminal has many tracks for Commuter trains run by New Jersey Transit which is New Jersey’s transit agency. It also has a light rail terminal, bus terminal, Ferry terminal, and a PATH train station which is a subway that connects hudson and essex county to New York City. The terminal is an amazing entrance into this amazing town if you take public transport. The town has many lovely streets, a walkway along the river that feels tranquil every time you walk by. The restaurants in Hoboken are very nice with excellent food and service. It also has small shops that focus on one food. For example there is a delicious pizzeria that serves really good pizza slices called ‘Basile's Pizza’. If you need to get around Hoboken you can take a taxi or any of the buses that start at Hoboken Terminal. I would really recommend visiting Hoboken. It's a really great travel destination for family time.
What does that even mean?
