Author Jarrett Lerner has provided us with great story starters. Here are some that made me want to get creating.

Lego Bingo Board

Lego Education has brought us a fun Lego Bingo game today. I think I know what I am doing later! If this is too challenging, make your own bingo board.

Play Packet for Families Master

Use this link to go on a play journey!

What follows in this packet is some suggested play areas for your child/ren. They do not require toys, but rather materials around your apartment or house. You do not need to supervise your child at play, but check in at the beginning and end of their time. If your child gets bored quickly, do not offer something new, encourage them to work through the boredom.

Included in this packet:

Directions

Play areas and ideas

Play planning and reflection sheet

Tips for talking to your child about their play

Tips for helping your child when they say “I am done” or “I am bored”

If you want to share your play creations, email Ms. Lewis or Ms. Compel, or post your work on this padlet!

3-5 Play Packet for Families

Use this link to spark your own maker project. Choose something you're passionate about or want to see changed, plan your project, work on it and revise as needed, then share it! Share your finished projects with Ms. Lewis and Ms. Compel, or post them on this padlet!

Found Art Challenge

I love the work of author/illustrator Debbie Ridpath Ohi and her found object art. Look around the house and see if you have something that can inspire a drawing today.

Did you create something?

Send it to Ms. Lewis or Ms. Compel! We'll post your finished maker projects on the website. You can also post your finished products on this padlet.
