          Foundation Stage staff meet families prior to children starting school, usually in Nursery or Reception to gain a full understanding of the whole child.  This also gives an opportunity for parents to share valuable information and promote a relaxed entry through familiarity to starting school as well as help build a positive relationship between school and home. 

          We recognise the following benefits of this: 

1. • Building relationships. 

   • Linking the child’s learning from home and the setting. 

   • Assist parents/carers and staff to observe and gain understanding of their child’s skills/interest. 

   • The gathering of information. 

   • Smoother transition.   

           Home visits will take place from new to Manor Park Children from Tuesday 3rd September to Friday 6th September 2025.     

           (Please note if you had a home visit in Manor Parks Nursery you will not have a home visit for Reception)

           You will receive an email with your allocated date and time for your visit.  We request that you please arrange for your child and yourselves to be available for this time slot.
