At Manor Park Primary we stagger the start dates for Nursery children as feedback from previous years has confirmed that this process ensures a smooth start to Nursery.
Nursery Gems start dates (15 hours am Nursery)
Monday 8th September 2025 - Stay and Play session
Your child’s initial visit will be from 10.45am -11.45am on this day, where your child can enjoy the environment and provision.
(Parents must stay)
Tuesday 9th September 2025- Independent Stay and Play session
Your child’s next visit will be from 10.45am -11.45am where your child can enjoy the environment and provision.
(Parents leave their child)
Wednesday 10th September 2025 onwards – Full Session
Your child will attend a full time nursery Session 8.45am – 11.45am. You may drop off your child from 8.45am and the register will be taken at 8.55am. Pick up will between 11.40am - 11.45am via the Myrtle Road Gate.
Nursery Jewels Start dates pm (15 hours pm Nursery)
Monday 8th September 2025 - Stay and Play Session
Your child’s initial visit will be from 2.15pm -3.15pm on this day, where your child can enjoy the environment and provision.
(Parents must stay)
Thursday 9th September 2025 - Independent Stay and Play Session
Your child’s next visit will be from 2.15pm -3.15pm where your child can enjoy the environment and provision.
(Parents leave their child)
Wednesday 10th September 2025 onwards – Full Session
Your child will attend a full time nursery Session 12.30pm -3.30pm. You may drop off your child between 12.30pm and 12.40pm. The register will be taken at 12.40pm.
Nursery Blue Moon Start dates (30 hours children)
Monday 8th September 2025 - Stay and Play Session
Your child’s initial visit will be from 9.00am -10.00 am on this day, where your child can enjoy the environment and provision.
(Parents must stay).
Tuesday 9th September 2025 - Independent Stay and Play Session
Your child’s initial visit will be from 9.00am -10.00 am on this day, where your child can enjoy the environment and provision.
(Parents leave their child).
Wednesday 10th September 2025 - Morning session at school
Your child’s next visit will be from 8.45am - 11.45am on this day, where your child can enjoy the environment and provision
(Parents leave their child).
The gates close and the register is taken at 8.55am. Pick up will between 11.40am - 11.45am via the Myrtle Road Gate.
Thursday 11th September 2025 - Lunch at school
Your child will attend a lunch time nursery Session 8.45am – 1.00pm. You may drop off your child from 8.45am and the register will be taken at 8.55am. Pick up will be at 1.00 via the Myrtle Road Gate.

If your child is bringing a packed lunch, please remember to provide.
If your child is having a school lunch this will be provided for you.
Friday 12th September 2025 -Full day at school
Your child will attend a full time nursery Session 8.55am – 3.30pm. You may drop off your child from 8.45am and the register will be taken at 8.55am. There will be a staggered collection from 3.15pm to 3.30pm.

Our policy on school uniform is based on the notion that school uniform:
promotes a sense of pride in the school;
engenders a sense of community and belonging towards the school;
is practical and smart;
identifies the children with the school;
prevents children from coming to school in fashion clothes that could be distracting in class;
makes children feel equal to their peers in terms of appearance;
is regarded as suitable wear for school and good value for money by most parents;
is designed with health and safety in mind
Milk and fruit/vegetables are provided daily for your child.
Please speak to the school office if your child has any dietary concerns.

Pupil premium is additional funding allocated to all schools in England to support disadvantaged pupils and close the gap between them and their peers.
This budget includes pupils who are currently entitled to free school meals, have been free school meals in the past six years (FSM ‘Ever Six’), children that are cared for or adopted from care and children whose parents are in the armed forces.
