Parent Welcome Meeting at Cheam Park Farm- Molesey Drive -Thursday 3rd July at 6:30pm- 7:30pm
This meeting is a chance for you to find out everything you need to know about your child starting Nursery in September. You will have the opportunity to visit your child’s classroom to meet the team and ask any questions you may have. We politely ask that you do not bring your child to this meeting.
In order to ensure a smooth transition for the children we have a carefully planned a staggered start in September for our Early Years children.

We are delighted to invite you and your child to visit their new classroom and to play in the nursery before they start in September. Details will be emailed to you before the welcome meeting.

We value the importance of each child being an individual and understand that they are on their own ‘unique’ learning journey. We believe that children's first experience of school, or a new setting, has a big impact on how they settle and subsequently their feelings about school. It is for this reason that we invest time in providing home visits to all children.
Nursery staff visit families prior to children starting school to gain a full understanding of the whole child. This also gives an opportunity for parents to share valuable information, promote a smooth entry to Nursery and help build a positive relationship between school and home.

Our policy on school uniform is based on the notion that school uniform:
promotes a sense of pride in the school;
engenders a sense of community and belonging towards the school;
is practical and smart;
identifies the children with the school;
prevents children from coming to school in fashion clothes that could be distracting in class;
makes children feel equal to their peers in terms of appearance;
is regarded as suitable wear for school and good value for money by most parents;
is designed with health and safety in mind
Milk and fruit/vegetables are provided daily for your child.
Please speak to the school office if your child has any dietary concerns.
At Cheam Park Farm we offer wraparound care both before and after school.
The breakfast club runs from 7:30am until the start of school.
The after school club runs from after school until 6.00pm.

Pupil premium is additional funding allocated to all schools in England to support disadvantaged pupils and close the gap between them and their peers.
This budget includes pupils who are currently entitled to free school meals, have been free school meals in the past six years (FSM ‘Ever Six’), children that are cared for or adopted from care and children whose parents are in the armed forces.
