Seesaw is a platform for student engagement. Teachers can empower children to create, reflect, share and collaborate. Children show what they know using photos, videos, drawings, text, PDFs, and links.
It is easy to get children's work in one place and share with families, and nothing is shared without teacher approval.
Staff can share photos and observations with parents, as well as sharing important messages. Parents can log into the Seesaw platform from any device and see what their children are doing at school in real time.
Teachers and support staff can set activities for the children to complete either at home or inside the classroom.
The seesaw toolbar includes text boxes, a microphone, a camera/screen recording option and a wide range of drawing tools.
Feedback from parents has been very positive as it is easy to use and allows a consistent link between school and home which can be very beneficial for the child's development - Parent's can have a much clearer view on what is happening at school so they can reinforce learning at home.
Visit Seesaw's training website for a wealth of videos and further training.
