What is nearpod?

Nearpod is a student engagement platform that can be used to amazing effect in the classroom. Teachers can create presentations that can contain Quizzes, Polls, Videos, Images, Drawing-Boards, Web Content and so on.

TWO Ways to use nearpod

Live PArticipation

Whole class - Teacher controls the pace. Students are unable to move on until the teacher advances the lesson.

STUDENT PACED

Independently - Students can advance the lesson by themselves and work through the given tasks.

You can also switch between the two modes. For example you could do the live participation for half of the lesson and then allow children to work independently at their own pace for the rest.

Creating lessons with nearpod

The best way to use Nearpod is to use the Google Slides integration (Paid subscription). Take lessons that you have already and add interactive content to them! Then simply push into the Nearpod platform ready to teach! Watch this video to find out how!
