Mote

WHAT IS IT?

Mote is an 'add on' for Google Classroom, Docs, Slides and Sheets that makes it easy for teachers and teams to create voice note comments and feedback. It is also an easy tool for children to use to voice note their ideas at the simple click of a button.

FEEdback

Leave feedback on children's work, allowing them to be more independent. You can leave mote feedback on Docs, Slides and Forms as well as directly in Google Classroom.

Children working in their books? That's fine too! Simply create an assignment in Google Classroom with the same date and learning objective, and set a blank assignment. You can still then leave mote feedback for them for them to listen back to!

Creating a list of verbal instructions - The picture above just verbalises the instruction so that children who struggle to read can just listen - Allows them to be more independent.

AS a tool for supporting writing

Children can record sentences aloud and then listen back to them to aid them with their writing.

They can verbalise their thoughts and ideas. This is an example of a child using mote to innovate the story of Charlie and the Chocolate Factory.
