Google Classroom is your all-in-one place for teaching and learning. Our easy-to-use and secure tool helps educators manage, measure, and enrich learning experiences.
All Google Classrooms for LEO Academy Trust are set up centrally so head to classroom.google.com and join your class. If you do not have an invitation, please email itsupport@leoacademytrust.co.uk and let us know!
Once you have done this, you will need to ask your children to join the class. Watch this video to find out how!
The class stream can be a great place for collaboration, communication and encouragement for the class.
It is important to set these expectations with children at the beginning of the year!
Example:
The class stream is to be used to discuss learning only. You are able to ask friends and teachers for help with homework etc. if you get stuck. Anyone who does not use the stream appropriately and respectfully will be muted by the teacher and you will lose the function of being able to post on here.
You can mute children from using the stream at anytime by using the 'people' tab. You should follow your schools behaviour policy for inappropriate use of the class stream.

Don't forget, you can now add additional products to your assignments i.e. Nearpod, Kahoot quizzes, Adobe Creative Cloud Express assignments and Google Arts and Culture!
It is important that your classrooms remain organised. Please ensure you read through these expectations. This makes it so much easier to look through classrooms during moderations, OFSTED etc.
