CHRISTMAS FAIR SUCCESS!
Wow! What an amazing day we had at our Christmas Fair on Saturday! We hope everyone had a fantastic time, and that the children enjoyed a fun-filled, festive afternoon.
Thank You for Coming!
A huge thank you to everyone who came along to support the fair. Your presence, enthusiasm, and festive cheer made the day truly special — and without your support we wouldn’t have raised a single penny!
Raffle Thanks
Thank you to everyone who kindly donated raffle prizes — and a big congratulations to all our winners!
An Outstanding Total!
We are thrilled to share that we raised an incredible PTFA personal best of around £4,000!
This amazing amount will help us support even more projects for our school in the year ahead.
The winners of the team points for participating in games was RED TEAM! Well done!
Huge Appreciation to Our Volunteers
To every person who gave their time, energy, and Christmas spirit — thank you. We simply couldn’t do this without you.
We’re excited to see what wonderful things we can fund next year!
From myself and the entire PTFA, we wish you a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!

Sutton Parks Landscape Artist Competition
We are delighted to share that Tahira (Indigo Class) has won the Best Landscape Artist award in a recent competition held across the Borough of Sutton and Carshalton. Competing in the 3-10 year old category, Tahira’s impressive artwork secured her the top prize along with £50 in art vouchers. A huge well done to Tahira for this fantastic creative achievement outside of school!

Please action this at your earliest convenience.

We understand that items can be occasionally forgotten in the morning rush. To manage the delivery of essential items and reduce interruptions to the school day, we are introducing a new system.
New drop off boxes
We have a clearly labelled 'drop off box' available in the school office at both the Kingston and Molesey site.
What to drop off
Please place items that your child has forgotten (e.g. book bags, water bottles, coats and jumpers) in the designated box. The office staff will ensure that these are delivered to the children at an appropriate time. Please ensure that your child's name is clearly labelled on the items.
Please note:
If your child has forgotten an item that does not directly affect their learning, you will not be contacted by the office to bring the item into school. We aim to encourage student responsibility and minimise disruption to classroom time.

If there are changes to the collection of your child/children, please can we ask that these are communicated to the office by 2pm where possible.

As we are now into the term, we would like to send some key reminders about our school PE kit. More information about our school uniform can be found below on our school website. https://www.cheamparkfarmprimary.co.uk/726/school-uniform
Shorts
Please ensure that all PE shorts are similar to the pictures below rather than cycling shorts. These should be plain black and free from logos.
These can be purchased from our uniform shop but are also available elsewhere.

Tracksuit Bottoms
When the weather turns colder, children should wear a tracksuit bottom or leggings.
Please ensure that these are plain black and free of logos.
Jogging bottoms can be purchased from our uniform shop but are also available elsewhere.
Tracksuit Tops
Children should wear one of the following: a plain black round neck sweatshirt or a zip up ‘hoodie’; the school uniform quarter zip; or their green school jumper/cardigan.
Black sweatshirts can be purchased from our uniform shop but are also available elsewhere.
School quarter zip: https://www.schoolwearinc.co.uk/shop/cheam-park-farm-primary-academy-kingston/quarter-zip-p-e-top-with-logo-4/
A reminder that children should not have smart watches in school.
Free School Uniforms
Sutton Community Uniform Bank provides free school uniforms for 4 - 18 year olds (they are unable to provide footwear). There is no eligibility to use this service (it is open to anyone with a child or young person who needs a school uniform).
Naming uniforms
Please can you ensure that all of your child's belongings are named.
Haircuts
You will be aware that our school uniform policy states no extreme haircuts. We have noticed that some children have had logos or letters shaved into their hair. This is not allowed under our school policy.
Jewellery such as rings, earrings or bracelets are not to be worn to school. In pierced ears, a plain round stud may be worn but must be removed for physical activities (including dance, gymnastics and swimming). We allow children to wear watches but they remain the responsibility of the child at all times. For safety reasons, long hair should be tied back at all times. Any hair accessories must be of the school colours and should be fit for purpose (i.e. not a fashion statement). No extreme styles of haircuts or eyebrow shavings are allowed. Hair must be of a natural colour and not dyed. Make-up and nail varnish are not allowed to be worn at school at any time.
Please view the below link for more information:
Simply navigate to the "Attendance" section, input the details, and submit. Our staff will then approve the absence, and you'll see it reflected in your child's attendance record.
Please note: This new system is for same-day absences only. For extended or future absences, please continue to report via the Special Authorised Absence Form on the school website.
Important change: From the Autumn Term, we will no longer be using the Google Form for sickness and appointment absences. All same-day absences must be submitted via the Parent Portal on the Arbor App.
If your child has an illness that requires them to take medication during school hours (e.g. antibiotics, cough medicine, creams etc.), you must fill in the Medicine Permission Form linked below.
This form, and the medication, must be brought to the school office on the morning that the medication is due to start. The school office staff will administer the medication at the times stated on the form by the parent/carer. You can collect the medication at the end of the school day, or at the end of the illness.
Please do not send any medicine into school with your child, this includes sore throat lozenges.
If we do not have a completed Medicine Permission Form we will not be able to administer medication to your child.
A polite reminder to avoid parking over driveways or in ways that could be dangerous in the roads around both sites. This includes not parking on lines where you should not park. We have had a number of complaints from our neighbours in the surrounding roads. Please park considerately as this helps keep everyone safe, especially our children.
A reminder also that although Kingston Avenue is under the Sutton Council's school streets scheme, it still remains a road. Please avoid walking in the road as we still have a number of cars who are in the road during drop off and pick up.
We pride ourselves on offering our children varied and exciting experiences that help to support their learning of the curriculum. The School Fund will allow us to provide additional activities, school visits and enrichment opportunities across all year groups.
We have a voluntary school fund donation of £10 a term / £30 a year per child or £40 for a family if there are siblings at the school. We are aware of the current cost of living crisis and any donation will be gratefully received.
Parents can make payments for the School Fund online through our Arbor payment system. Simply log in to the parent portal and navigate to your child's home screen, then visit the school shop. From there, you can choose the appropriate school fund option based on your needs. You also have the flexibility to purchase multiple school funds. The available options are: School Fund - £10 per term, School Fund - £30 per year for each child, and School Fund - £40 per family for siblings attending the school.
We would like to thank you for your continued support.
Apply by completing the online application form, or call 02087705000.
