It is almost time for the Isle of Wight Residential!

Please see a few final reminders below before we go:

• Please find attached a copy of the Isle of Wight Parents Evening slides and kit list for your information

• If you have not already done so, please ensure the balance is paid for the trip, to avoid any disruption on Monday morning.

• Please be reminded that children should arrive at school at 6.30am on Monday ready to leave at 7am. The coach will be waiting on Chatsworth Road, please come straight to the coach rather than into school.

• Please ensure that the medication is in a clearly labelled bag, all instructions for taking the medicine should be in the bag. If you are able to, please bring medication to the School Office by Friday, to avoid delays on Monday morning.

• Spending money (£20 MAX) should also be in a clearly labelled bag or envelope and if you are able to hand it to the School Office by Friday, to avoid delays on Monday morning.

• Please ensure you provide your child with a packed lunch for Monday placed in their backpack (NOT in their suitcase)

• Your child should bring a backpack with a refillable water bottle, suncream and sunhat

• If your child suffers from travel sickness, please administer anti-sickness medication before coming to school

• Please ensure that your child does NOT bring any electronic devices

• We have been asked if children can bring snacks/sweets to Isle of Wight. They may, as long as the following rules are followed:
  
  

  • No nuts or products which contain nuts. This includes Nutella and peanut butter.

  • Snacks must be packed in a sealed bag. Open bags of sweets etc are likely to attract ants.

  • Snacks must not be shared, due to a variety of allergies and dietary requirements.

• Should you need to contact the group in an emergency, please call the School Office during the day. If you need to contact the group after 4pm and before 8.30am, please call 07545921609. Please only use this number in a genuine emergency. Please keep an eye on our Twitter feed for updates on our activities!

• We are hoping to return on Friday, 21st July by 6pm, depending on the traffic. The dismissal will be from Chatsworth Road.

Wednesday 6th September at 5pm

Save the Date - Welcome to Year 3 Meeting  (Including 1:1 Chromebook and Online Safety) 

On Wednesday 6th September at 5pm, you are invited to a welcome to Year 3 parent meeting. This will take place in the hall. 

This meeting will give you more information about the Year 3 curriculum as well as providing you with information about the 1:1 Chromebook project which gives pupils access to a chromebook to support them with their learning both in school and at home.

The meeting will also cover the measures we have in place to keep children safe online when in school and what you can do at home.

In order to provide your child with a device, we politely request that you complete a form to give your consent. This form will be made available in the meeting so it is important that you attend if you are able to.
