Creative Crowns
Friday 5th May
We are challenging our Cheam Fields Children to design and make a creative crown to wear in our Crown Parade. It doesn't matter if it doesn’t look perfect, we are looking for the creativity of the design. We would ask children to submit their design sheets to their teachers by Wednesday 3rd May so we can see their creative ideas, even if they don’t quite work out as planned. We can’t wait to see your designs and your crowns in our parade on Friday 5th May! The winning crown designer in each year group will receive a prize and certificate.

Football Trials - Sutton United
Football trials for next season's Sutton United Colts boys teams are starting very soon, so if your son would like to play for Sutton United, please register your interest this week! (Link below)
Sutton United Colts is the grassroots section affiliated with Sutton United Football Club, and has 20 teams playing between the U7 and U16 age groups.
Sutton United Colts teams play in the Surrey Youth League on a Sunday morning, and at the competitive age groups, most teams play in the top Premier Elite Division.
The Colts strive to offer the very best standard of football outside of a professional academy environment, and aim to give the players who excel, and want it, a pathway into the professional game.
With that in mind, Colts games are regularly watched by professional academy scouts from the Sutton United Academy, as well as other professional academies from the Premier League, Championship, and beyond.
Real Pathways:
The Academy at Sutton United (Cat3) often sends scouts to watch the Colts play, and more than 40 players were promoted from the Colts to the Academy at the end of the 2021/22 season.
The Sutton United Academy in turn seeks to develop players that are one day ready to play in the Sutton United first team, currently playing in the English Football League Division Two, and pushing for a play-off place this season!
It's an exciting time to be a part of Sutton United, and this season has seen first-team appearances from players who previously played in the Colts, and the Academy teams.
If your son would like to attend the trials for the Sutton United Colts, please register your interest ASAP via the link below, and Mike Nicholson, Chairman of the Colts section, will be in touch with details of the next trial date for your sons age group.
Trials start very soon, so register soon to avoid disappointment.
