Parents/Carers Year 6
Creative Crowns
We are challenging our Cheam Fields Children to design and make a creative crown to wear in our Crown Parade. It doesn't matter if it doesn’t look perfect, we are looking for the creativity of the design. We would ask children to submit their design sheets to their teachers by Wednesday 3rd May so we can see their creative ideas, even if they don’t quite work out as planned. We can’t wait to see your designs and your crowns in our parade on Friday 5th May! The winning crown designer in each year group will receive a prize and certificate.

It is important to have regular conversations about staying safe online.
What can I do:
Talk to your child about the importance of creating a safe online environment, including keeping any log-in details and passwords safe.
Encourage your child to speak to you or a trusted adult if they come across something worrying online or if someone or something makes them uncomfortable or scared.
Set up home filtering in a child-friendly way and set up age-appropriate parental controls on digital devices.
Use the online resources available to understand the apps and platforms that your child is using - links below
