Year 3 are excited to showcase their final drumming performance on Monday 25th March. You can access the hall 5 mins before the performances start via the car park entrance.

Performance 2:45 - 3:00 (Children will be dismissed at normal time)

As part of our ‘People who help us’ topic, we are learning about firefighters. To develop and enhance our learning, the children will be visiting Sutton Fire Station. Please see dates and times for each class’ trip.

Hedgehogs: Monday 25th March at 12:30 pm

Otters: Wednesday 27th March 9:45 am

For this trip to take place, we will need support from parents. Please fill out this google form by Thursday 21st March, if you are able to help your child’s class. We will inform you if you are needed to support the walk by Friday 22nd March.

Hedgehog class helpers will be needed from 12:30 - 2:30 pm.

Otter parent helpers will be needed from 9:45 - 11:30 am.

As you have signed consent forms for local visits on Arbor, this letter is to inform you that your child will be leaving school to visit the fire station.

Thursday 18th April 

As part of the children’s topic on ’Ancient Egypt’, we have arranged for a company to come and facilitate a whole date workshop in school for Year 3 on Thursday the 18th April 2024. This interactive workshop not only introduces children to the fascinating world of the Ancient Egyptians through the eyes of an Egyptologist, but also takes them on a journey through the mysteries of mummification. For the workshop, it would be great if the children could dress up as either: 

AN EGYPTOLOGISTS - Jeans/shorts, jumpers, T shirt, hat.

ANCIENT EGYPTIANS – Egyptians, Cleopatras, Pharaohs, Mummies, slaves...

The cost of the Trip is £7 and needs to be paid by 30th April 24. Please log onto your child's Arbor account to  make payment under Activities/Trips.

The year 4 High Ashurst residential trip on the 24th - 26th June is quickly approaching.

So that we can discuss the arrangements with you, we have organised an information meeting on Monday 20th May 24 at 5:00 - 5:30 in the school hall. This will be a chance for you to ask any questions that you may have.

• Check the size guide and ensure that you are confident you have picked the right size. The hoodies are bespoke, so Schoolwear Inc are not able to offer refunds or exhanges if the sizing is wrong. If in doubt, size up!

• Hoodies will be delivered to school just before May Half Term. To ensure that everyone gets their hoodie at the same time, there is not an option to collect from the shop or for home delivery.

• The last date for ordering is 28th March - this deadline cannot be extended!
