Transforming into a Community School

The Community Schools model is a strategy aimed at disrupting poverty and addressing longstanding inequities. Utilizing a collective leadership framework will leverage existing resources and recruit new partners that provide 

• An integrated focus to assess needs

• Determine what changes are needed

• Strategize how best to address these found issues 

• Implement the CCSPP vision in a way that ensures the initiative continuously improves delivery of services.

Furthermore, the Community Schools model emphasizes the collaboration with community partners to ensure that ALL students have what they need to succeed. We acknowledge that students cannot learn unless their basic needs are met first.  Therefore, as we transform into a Community School, one of our goals is to share with you community resources that may be of support to you during these challenging times.
