Tifany Wright is an assistant LG speech coach at Le Mars Community High School. Mrs. Wright grew up in small town in Utah. She attended Utah State University where she received her bachelor’s degree in Business Information Systems and her MBA. After graduation, her and her husband moved to Colorado for a couple of years, then to Arizona for 3 years and then to Iowa. Mrs. Wright, her husband, and their three kids have lived here since 2008. Ms. Wright was a stay at home mom for many years but as her youngest was nearing school again, she started substitute teaching in the district. She quickly learned that she loved being involved in the school and with the students. She started coaching tennis in 2012. The business teacher at the high school was hinting at retirement so Mrs. Wright went back to school to get her teaching license and was hired as a full-time teacher in 2017.
Mrs. Wright was not a speech kid and thought speech was for English enthusiasts and avid readers. She quickly learned that several of the skills she teaches in business were relevant to speech. She is now fully committed to speech and loves it!
Mrs. Wright is obsessed with just a few things: her children, Dr. Pepper, cats, Michael Jordan, and Roger Federer. Fun facts about Mrs. Wright, she and her family have been to a game at all 30 MLB stadiums and she has been to all 50 states.
