Le Mars Community High School Counseling

Mrs. Hill began her distinguished career in education in 1990 as a kindergarten teacher at Anthon-Oto. She came to Le Mars one year later to teach 1st grade and has worked in Le Mars ever since. In 1993, Mrs. Hill started as a school counselor and has worked as a counselor at all levels, with the last seven years being at Le Mars Community High School. She earned her undergraduate degree from Morningside University and her master's degree from the University of South Dakota. When Mrs. Hill is not at school, she likes spending time with her family and also traveling.

Mrs. Schmidt will be starting her eleventh year at Le Mars Community High School in the 2025-26 school year. She is a 2000 graduate of LCHS, and following high school, she attended NIACC, UNI, and Worsham College of Mortuary Science. Mrs. Schmidt works as the official registrar at LCHS, and she also works as an administrative assistant with activities at LCHS. Her family includes her husband Adam and daughters Kynlee, Rylann, and Aynslee. Outside of school, Mrs. Schmidt enjoys quality time with her family. She loves going to any activities that her kids are involved with, as well as spending time at the lake, and also golfing.
