Graduation Requirements:
A student must earn at least 50 total credits to graduate from LCHS. From those 50 credits, a student must earn at least 8 English credits, 6 math credits, 6 science credits, 6 social studies credits, 1 health credit, 0.33 Introduction to Careers credit, 2 PE credits, and the remaining credits will come from electives.
Schedule Changes:
Any changes to student schedules must be made through the high school counseling office. Mrs. Hill and Mr. Kopperud work hard on scheduling and do their best to help students to create a schedule that will meet their requirements for graduation and that will help them in their postsecondary endeavors. Schedules will NOT be changed for the following reasons:
Specific teacher requests
Lunch requests
Requests to have classes with friends
If you wish to make a schedule change, please stop by the counseling office and see either Mrs. Hill or Mr. Kopperud.
Adding/Dropping a Course:
Students will only be allowed to add a class within the first five (5) school days of a semester. Dropping a class will only take place within the first ten (10) days of a semester if the student has seven (7) classes or more in his/her schedule.
LCHS Transcript Request:
If you wish to request an official copy of your high school transcript, please contact Amy Schmidt: amy.schmidt@lemarscsd.org
Success Center:
Students who need extra assistance in homework completion, test preparation, organization, and who might also like a smaller study environment can request or be placed in the Success Center. Mrs. Tentinger and an aide supervise the Success Center throughout the day and help students with achieving their academic goals. Contact a counselor for more information or to register for the Success Center in a schedule.
