Dear Parents/Carers, 

What a year 2023 - 24 has been. Once again we find ourselves at the end of a successful year feeling full of pride for the many varied achievements made, and the resilience shown by all members of the LAB family.  

We are looking forward to welcoming our final year group who join us in September 2024. It has been such a journey since we opened in September 2018, can you believe we have grown from a community of 180 to 1250 in just six years? 

Once again our summer newsletter celebrates the amazing adventures our students have had this year; we do hope you enjoy it.  For me, I am particularly pleased to see our Year 8 girls bring home the cup from LAT sports day and to see our talented podcasters receive the Outstanding Create Response award at the Tender UK awards. We congratulate everyone on their achievements, and hope that you enjoy celebrating with them.

Unfortunately, the end of a school year always means that we must say goodbye to a number of colleagues, who leave us for new opportunities and experiences.  Can I take this opportunity to thank them for their many varied contributions to making LAB the special place it is, and wish them all the very best for the future. 

Have a peaceful summer and we look forward to welcoming students back in September.
