Pre-access Level 2 Courses - Fees

Our tuition fees for level 2 courses are aligned to the Education Skills Funding Agency (ESFA) rates for qualifications. Fees for level 2 courses are calculated based on eligibility and circumstances of a learner on their first day of their course. Fees are charged under three bands.

Band one:
Non-Funded: The full fee to be paid by the learner

Brand two:
Co Funded: 50% reduction 50% cost of the course paid by the learner 50% by the ESFA
- Learners are eligible for co funding if they are a UK citizen or a citizen of a country within the European Economic Area and have been a resident for at least the last three years. Or if they are an asylum seeking with over 6 months residency.

Brand three:
Fully funded: 100% costs of the course paid by ESFA*

* Learners are eligible for full funding on level 2 courses if they meet the residency criteria and can demonstrate one of the following:
. They are aged between 16-18 years on the first day of the course
. They are aged between 19-23 and have no achieved full level 2 qualification before
. They are unemployed and are receiving JSA or ESA benefits
. They are employed but can demonstrate that they earn less than £15,736.50 annual gross salary
