Advanced Methods in XPS Data Processing

Advanced Methods in XPS Data Processing

Held on: February 15, 2023

XPS has become a major contributor in the scientific community and industry to interrogate surface chemical composition and binding information of a diverse range of materials from catalysis to biofilms. The goal of this workshop is to introduce methods and procedures for XPS data acquisition and processing. The workshop will focus on the advanced methods of interpreting complex polymer and transition metal oxide spectra aided by CasaXPS:

The workshop is based on the data and methods from the recent publications:

Will be offered on Zoom. You should receive an acknowledgment email after registering. Some countries, e.g. China, have problems using Google forms. If you do not get the email acknowledgment, email job314@lehigh.edu for manual registration. Zoom link to the meeting will be emailed to all registered email addresses on February 14th.

Workshop lead by:

Jonas Baltrusaitis, Associate Professor of Chemical & Biomolecular Engineering, Lehigh University

Neal Fairley, CasaXPS

This work is supported as part of the Center for Understanding and Control of Acid Gas-Induced Evolution of Materials for Energy (UNCAGE-ME), an Energy Frontier Research Center funded by the U.S. Department of Energy, Office of Science, Basic Energy Sciences under Award No. DE-SC0012577 and hosted by Lehigh I-FMD.
