I am Eric Nguyen and I am a Junior majoring in computer science and business. I am adaptable person and extremely passionate about innovating and developing AI into a sustainable competitive advantage in the field. I have experience in both corporate settings and in the intense atmosphere of a startup. Starting at ILM and Pratt & Whitney, I focused on learning the basics of machine learning, data analytics, and utilizing AI to sort and create consistent data libraries. Recently, I was able to research AI within the education realm and how we would integrate AI into our everyday academic lives. I also worked at a startup called Admit as a SWE developing the front-end, backend database using MongoDB, and create a personalized AI companion to aid students apply to universities, internships, and scholarships.

I am a PA local that was raised roughly 20 minutes Southwest of Lehigh in East Greenville. I study Computer Science and Business and I hope to one day be able to create a positive impact with my work. Reclaim allows me to join those two by creating a solution that improves the experience of thrifting. By being mindful and informed about our shopping habits new and seasoned thrifters can get clothes sustainably, affordably, and conveniently. I believe that our app will address some of the key issues that the thrifting community faces and will promote second hand clothing and sustainable fashion.

I co-founded Reclaim because I saw the challenges thrifters face, and I wanted to create a smarter, more sustainable shopping experience for them. My skills in C/C++, Java, SQL, and cloud technologies (AWS, Google Cloud), combined with my leadership experience as President of the Lehigh Cybersecurity Club, enable me to bring this vision to life. My previous projects and cybersecurity internship have equipped me with the skills to develop and secure a robust, user-friendly app that I hope will revolutionize the thrifting experience.

I am a junior studying CSB with a minor in EES. I am familiar with Java, React, C/C++, SQL, but am willing to learn other languages. My current interests are cyber security, environmental science, and data science, and I would like to develop more in those directions. I enjoy getting to know new people and finding common interests/goals. I motivate myself by setting goals. As long as I have something I would like to accomplish, I give it my all. I have done personal projects that included collecting feedback, and marketing products which will certainly aid my role as a product developer.

Role and Responsibilities
Backend : Eric Nguyen
Create a database and fill it with information about the different types of tags.
Implement a scanner API which allows the user to scan the tag.
Develop a system that analyzes the scanned tag and returns information to the user about the tag.
Frontend : Ryan Cleary
Design and implement the endpoint which the user will interact with the system.
Aim to improve the user experience of application through ergometric design.
Project management : Sean Pandaleon
Ensure that goals are set at the beginning of the week and work is done to meet those goals.
Maintain a backlog of tasks that need to be completed to develop our MVP
Make sure that communication between all members is clear and constant
Product development : Rusanka Bashova
Develop business plan detailing the product function(s)
Present and market product in desirable way
Design and test, present received feedback in constructive manner applicable to future development of product
