October 4

Welcome to Chaeyoung Lim and Kimia Mirlohi to the lab, both new graduate students! Chaeyoung will be focusing on the depolymerization of polyelectrolyte complexes utilizing enzymes to break down the polyelectrolyte(s) forming the dense phase. Kimia will be exploring how polyelectrolyte architecture affects the encapsulation and thermal stability of RNA.

September 23

Prof. Blocher McTigue gives keynote talk Biomacromolecule Stabilization and Simulating Depolymerization at the 2022 Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering Symposium at Lehigh.

September 6

Welcome to Sydney Volheim! Sydney is a new undergraduate researcher who will be investigating how to form binodal curves for complex coacervate systems using only small volume samples.

Fall 2022 - Lab begins to come together!
