I'm from the Dominican Republic. Most beautiful island in the Caribbean.
I run on God's grace and coffee.
I have two Yorkies: Nala and Mila.
My favorite activity is hiking and my favorite color is red.
I love fall and everything that comes with it!

I now teach in the room where I attended first grade.
I love long walks on the beach, in the woods and on mountains with my family.
I enjoy coffee - hot or iced.
I enjoy swimming in Lake Michigan in the summer.

Our Deep Hopes

My Deep Hope is that my students begin to UNDERSTAND how God has woven His hands throughout the PAST and a seed will be planted in them to CREATE a FUTURE for the betterment of His Kingdom.

Jeremiah 29:11 ~ “For I know the plans I have for you, declares the LORD, plans for welfare and not for evil, to give you a future and a hope.”

My Deep hope is to equip my students to embrace their identity in Christ in a world that is broken through expressing God's love, reaching out to others and taking an active path in God’s story inside and outside of the classroom.

I hope deeply to effectively encourage and equip my students to choose right over wrong, friendship over popularity, others over self, and God's will above all.

My deep hope for my students is that they are able to REFLECT on stories and characters and CONNECT them to their lives. I hope that they see themselves as essential and unique characters in God’s great Story and follow closely after Him.

My deep hope for my students is that we aim to LISTEN to God’s word, WRESTLE with His word, and put it into ACTION.
