Dear LCA Middle School Families,

To ensure a safe and efficient experience, we would like to walk you through what the morning pickup and afternoon drop off carlines look like at our Lower School.  At the city of Frisco’s request, LCA conducted a professional third-party traffic study to reduce congestion and improve arrival and dismissal. The analysis focused on:

• Minimizing backup traffic on main roads

• Enhancing flow for all divisions

• Prioritizing student and staff safety

• Reducing overall congestion on Academy Drive and Stonebrook Drive

• Improving traffic flow for LS, MS, and US families

Based on their expert analysis, in the 2025-2026 school year we implemented our Middle School carline route.  Here are the essentials!  
 

📍 Important Carline Notes:

• The car line system is the same this year as last year's car line system.  If you were here last year, there are no changes. 

• In the morning, cars will enter from Legacy Drive or Stonebrook Drive and follow the BLUE and WHITE routes as indicated on the map below.

• Middle School students will continue to be dropped off in the same locations in the mornings

• You will continue to use your carline tag to help us quickly get your child to your car at afternoon pickup.

• In the afternoon, ALL Middle School carline traffic will now enter from Stonebrook Drive ONLY and exit to Legacy Drive.

• Middle School families will form five queues in the White Lot prior to dismissal. Yellow painted lines and signage will be in place to guide you.

  • The two southern queues will proceed to East Door Pickup.

  • The three northern queues will proceed to West Door Pickup.
    
    Attention: Please DO NOT change lanes during afternoon pick-up. Changing lanes disrupts the flow and may delay your student’s dismissal, as students are called in the order cars arrive.
     

🔖 Carline Tags & Pickup Locations:

At  Meet the Teacher, you will receive your carline tag. This tag will indicate whether your family is assigned to East Door afternoon pickup or West Door afternoon pickup. Please follow the pickup route noted on your tag to ensure a smooth and efficient carline experience.
