Ms. Lisa started playing the violin in her 6th grade orchestra. She soon fell in love with music and never stopped. In high school she had the honor of playing first chair at Carnegie Hall, NYC and was a regular member of the Naples Youth Philharmonic. In college, Ms. Lisa developed a passion for teaching. She graduated Magna Cum Laude from Radford University, in Virginia, with a Bachelor's Degree in Music with certifications in Music Education and Music Therapy. Shortly thereafter, she began her teaching career at Cypress Lake in 2014.Â
She has held leadership roles as the Florida Orchestra Association District Chair for Collier and Lee Counties, an international office for professional music fraternity, Mu Phi Epsilon, and has presented at music conferences throughout the nation. She was also named Orchestra New Teacher of the Year as well as a five-time Golden Apple Teacher of Distinction. Aside from teaching, Ms. Lisa loves crafts, video games and hanging out with her family and dog, Oliver.
