Audition Information
This video contains information and exercises used for the audition. Please review the video and familiarize yourself with the exercises in order to be as prepared as possible.

Each student will participate in a live group audition that will include the following:
A dance class including exercises and combinations in a variety of dance styles including ballet barre and center, modern across the floor exercises, and a possible jazz phrase (Details will be specified at the audition site.)
A one-minute prepared solo (or excerpt of a dance) of the student’s own choosing. Recorded accompaniment can be on any device with a headphone jack.
Audition Dress Code
Females are to wear a leotard and tights or a unitard. Hair is to be secured in a ponytail, bun, French braid, or off-the-neck hairstyle. Feet can be bare. Ballet shoes and jazz shoes are preferred for the appropriate sections of the class, please no socks. Hair is to be secured away from the face, this includes bangs.
Males are to wear sweatpants and a plain T-shirt, or dancewear. Feet can be bare. Ballet shoes and jazz shoes are preferred for the appropriate sections of the class, please no socks. Hair is to be secured away from the face.
