This educational project is maintained by students and a work in progress. Final version is expected september 2025.
We're students of 5WW and developing an AR Sandbox as part of our Erasmus+ project in collaboration with a school in Oslo, Norway. In addition to the hardware, we're also focusing on the educational aspect.
Our goal is to design engaging lessons that inspire young children to develop an interest in geography.
Stay updated on our project and follow our progress here!

Our first self made kinetic sand was a fail
There was too much water in the mixture.
it needs more cornstarch (maïzena).
The mixture is very sandy, grainier, and dry.
When you squeeze it, it holds its shape.
With a little water added, it’s still grainy but less dry, and it continues to hold its shape when squeezed (improvement).

We installed the PC on October 2nd. We also put Ubuntu Linux on a USB stick so that it can be installed on the PC later.
