British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy (BACP) is a professional body representing counselling and psychotherapy with over 44000 members and works toward a better standard of therapeutic practice.

The British Psychoanalytic Council (BCP) is a professional association, representing the profession of psychoanalytic and psychodynamic psychotherapy.

United Kingdom Council for Psychotherapy (UKCP) is the leading body for the education, training and accreditation of psychotherapists and psychotherapeutic counsellors.


The National Counselling Society (NCS) is a not for profit professional association for counsellors and psychotherapists. Established in 1999, the NCS aims to promote and support the practice of counselling.

The Leeds Observatory website provides access to a wide range of information and intelligence about communities in Leeds. The website is provided as a free resource and updated and maintained by Leeds City Council.

GOV.UK provides access to Government services and information. Official statistics are produced impartially and free from political influence.

Eurostat provides information on EU general and regional statistics, population and social conditions, economy and finance, industry, trade and services, environment and energy, science and technology and more.

The Office for National Statistics is the UK's largest independent producer of official statistics and its recognised national statistical institute. It is responsible for collecting and publishing statistics related to the economy, population and society at national, regional and local levels.
