Tips for Success

Mrs. Gross - If a student is struggling, they should always have their interactive notebook with them to look back at notes, diagrams, and models done together.

Ms. Vaughn- Students write in their agendas daily to keep up with what we are doing in class. I typically do not give homework; most assignments can be completed during class.

Ms. Mays- Students should review vocabulary words throughout the week. All assignments can be completed in class unless the student is absent.

Mrs. Wicker-Students are given an opportunity to collaborate on assignments. Students should review their notes every night and make corrections to assignments that are below 60 for a better grade. Therefore, students have math homework every night.

Mr. Caldwell - The only homework regularly given in Social Studies is to be prepared to spend weekends visiting places we discuss in class throughout the week, and to bring pictures, stories, and memories back to class each Monday.

Mrs. Holland - Students may work on their iReady pathway at home; they can access this through Clever. They also have weekly library books they will bring home.

Ms. Schuster - Please make sure that you do all assigned homework and review your notes nightly. It will make a difference. Make sure your notebook is in the proper order and please keep up with it!
