In general, stakeholder responses suggest confidence, optimism, and inspiration about their educational experiences. On the grade 6 - 8 Engagement Survey, students selected "doing my best" and expressed excitement about what they are learning. A high number of elementary students want to "listen and complete". School Self-Assessment ratings (2.78) were relatively high for this standard.
Priority 1: Evidence suggests the need to examine the extent to which learners give input into the instructional and learning activities they pursue and the methods in which they learn-Standard 19. Standard 19 received a low average score on School Self-Assessments (2.62). In particular, based upon student perceptions, respect for learner opportunities to give input into instructional and learning activities is an area that warrants further study.
