Mr. Salter played percussion for 4 years at Ledyard High School, including in the CT Eastern Regional band in 2006, before graduating in 2007. After high school, Mr. Salter attended the University of Connecticut where he played snare in the University of Connecticut Marching Band in 2010 and 2011. During this time, he played at Rentschler Field in Hartford, CT, the “Big House” at the University of Michigan, and the Tostito’s Fiesta Bowl in Phoenix, AZ. Post-graduation, he joined the United States Air Force and played snare during basic military training at Lackland Air Force Base in San Antonio, TX, after which he served 6 years in Security Forces at the 103rd Airlift Wing in Hartford, CT. Mr. Salter currently works full-time as a Financial Analyst at General Dynamics, Electric Boat.

In addition to percussion, Mr. Salter also enjoys playing bluegrass guitar. He has played for regional bands in festivals throughout New England.

Mr. Salter earned his Bachelor of Arts degree in History from the University of Connecticut, as well as his Master of Business Administration from Fitchburg State University.
