Ledyard Colonel Marching Band

The LHS Colonel Marching Band is the largest and most visible performing ensemble in the instrumental music program at LHS. The Marching Colonels perform their field show at home football games and competitive marching band shows each year. They also serve as the pep band for home football games and other school and town events, including the Ledyard Fair and the Ledyard Memorial Day Parade. Marching Band begins with a week of rehearsals, known as "Band Camp," in late August. Students enrolled in the LHS Symphonic Band are required to participate in the LHS Colonel Marching Band.   It is possible to participate in a fall sport and still participate in the Marching Band/Symphonic Band.
