EDE comprises several Special Interest Groups (SIGs), and the EDE Student SIG is a student-led SIG established in March 2025 to foster exchange and mutual learning among students interested in the research area to support and facilitate understanding of the learning process through data visualization and analysis.
Currently, the EDE Student SIG has members who are undergraduate and graduate students from all over Japan, and they usually engage in online activities on Discord.
