Academically:
I teach 6th–8th grade Math, Algebra 1, and Geometry, aligned to Florida’s B.E.S.T. Standards. My instruction combines procedural fluency, conceptual understanding, and real-world application. I use engaging tools like Quizizz, Blooket, and structured systems like reference folders to help students master content and enjoy the learning process. My classroom is rigorous, purposeful, and focused on preparing students for long-term academic success.
Beyond the Books:
I teach more than math—I teach students how to think critically, act responsibly, and live intentionally.
In my classroom, students learn to:
Manage themselves like professionals through systems like a class economy and goal setting
Take pride and ownership in their learning and behavior
Aim for excellence, knowing that high achievement is for everyone, not just a select few
Lead with purpose, knowing they have the power to make a positive impact on their communities
I equip students not just for school—but for life!
I believe in excellence equity—that all students deserve access to a high-quality education—and I teach to empower youth to become confident, capable, and impactful young adults.
I strive to create a classroom environment that mirrors the structure, rigor, expectations, and consequences (both positive and negative) of the real-world. Through intentional systems, meaningful content, and a culture of pride and purpose, I aim to equip students not just for academic success, but for life.
I teach with purpose, structure, and high expectations.
My classroom is a space where students build both academic skills and life habits through clear routines, rigorous content, and real-world connections. I believe in empowering all students—from all backgrounds and walks of life—to see themselves as capable, confident, and ready to lead. Every system I implement is designed to help students grow into well-rounded young adults who can make a positive impact on the world.
