2025 Summer Activities!

The summer assignment is meant to help you hold on to all the great math thinking you’ve built this year — and even push it a little further. The goal is for you to come back in August feeling confident, sharp, and ready to hit the ground running.

This work also gives everyone, whether you’re brand new to Cluster 3 at LECS or continuing on your math journey here, a shared starting point. It helps us begin the year with something in common — something you’ve already thought about, practiced, and can feel proud of when you walk in on day one.

Here is what you can expect to do this summer!

• All classes are to complete the "Summer in Numbers" packet--whether in print or digitally--over the course of the summer and turn in the completed work on August 18, 2025.

• Algebra and Geometry have an additional enrichment assignment to prepare them for their coursework, which is also due on August 18!

• 6th, 7th, and Pre-Algebra can complete a similar version of the enrichment assignment for extra credit points and an additional reward!
