About our program
Here at Valley View we follow Creative Curriculum. It is a state approved early childhood curriculum that teaches through themes and studies. Creative curriculum is play based, while utilizing age appropriate practices and materials to meet the needs of individual children. It is designed to help build confidence, crtitical thinking skills and creativity. The themes, studies, and activities are all designed to target a specific area of develpment. In preschool we look at the whole child and thw four main domains of development: Pysical (fine and gross motor), language, cognitive, and social emotional.
In addition to Creative Curriculem, we use Fundations. It is a supplemental curriculum we use to exposes our preschoolers to phonics, letters, and writing for the PM students. It is used in grades K-2nd as well.
In the classroom my staff and I strive to provide a safe, warm, predictable and stimulating learning environment for your children to grow and learn during these most influential years of their development. I am a firm believer in the importance of play so I incorporate as much as possible in our day. We follow a consistent daily routine which allows for the students to know what is expected of them. I also fully believe that preschoolers are very capable little people, so we work hard on making them independent.
Meet the Teacher
Hank
Etta
Hello preschool friends and families!! My name is Jessica Hull and this is the start of my 14th year with the Lebanon Township school district. I am a dual certified teacher in early and elementary education with a special education certification. I completed my undergraduate schooling at Felician College in Lodi, NJ. I also have a masters degree in psychology with a specialization in ABA (Applied Behavior Analysis) that I completed online through Purdue University .
I live in Holland Township NJ with my husband Zach, our son Jackson and our two cats, Hank and Etta. I love nature and being outdoors with friends and family. My happy place is down the shore fishing with my dad and grandfather, or soaking up the rays on the sandy beaches.
Ever since high school I have loved working with young children. I love preschoolers because:
They are honest, sweet, curious and they always make you smile.
They are sponges that soak up everything!!
They are eager to please and try new things.
There is nothing like seeing those light bulb moments.
