Mission Verte
Amongst other recyclables, Mission Verte is largely dedicated to the recycling of glass, since it is taking up an immense part of Mare Chicose, the Mauritian landfill. In Roche Bois, they have an atelier where the crushed glass comes to life through crafts such as terrazzo. Mission verte has worked in collaboration with the MCB Foundation that launched a glass recycling project in 2013, supported with research. This research aided them in finding techniques to recycle glass in Mauritius. To contact them, their landline is (+230) 676 30 26 and their email is contact@missionverte.org. If you would like to visit them, go to 3A, rue Avrillon - Curepipe - Mauritius. access their website https://missionverte.org or their FaceBook https://www.facebook.com/MissionVerte.Maurice?locale=fr_FR for more information.
