I love creative projects, but for the sake of samples it is easier if it is a paper-based assignment, PDF project, or a digital assignment. Posters are great if you can scan them in! I have had families do brochures, which are acceptable as long as the entire document can be scanned at once. The purpose of samples is to provide documentation to the state and federal government to remain in good standing as a non-classroom based school. Most often our auditors are not teachers, so the creative project submitted as samples often hurt us unintentionally.
